What are Open Educational Resources (OER)?

OER Resources are free, customizable, and sharable educational resources, including textbooks, that faculty may use to reduce cost for students. OERs are either in the public domain or the copyright owner has assigned them a Creative Commons license that allows anyone to retain, redistribute, reuse, revise, or remix.
