These are a few of the many tools for discovering OER textbooks.  Compared to searching for traditionally published books, searching for OER texts can be trickier.  Librarians can help! Consider contacting your department's liaison librarian or using Ask-a-Librarian email for assistance.

OpenStax

OpenStax  offers free, peer-reviewed, introductory textbooks in subjects including social sciences, chemistry, biology, mathematics, ecomomics, and U.S. history.  Go ahead and adapt them to fill your needs!

BC Campus Ed

These textbooks are used in Canada and beyond. Subjects include French language, sociology, biology, anatomy and physiology, economics and more.

OER Commons

OER Commons offers texts for a wide variety of subjects and levels. Topics include law, humanities, physical sciences, social sciences and more.

SUNY Open Textbooks

Browse a variety of college-level textbooks from the State University of New York. Subjects include, music, filmmaking, math and science.

Orange Grove Text Plus, University Press of Florida

Scholarly textbooks about a wide variety of topics. Check license details for usage rights.
