  • It is always OKAY TO COME BACK AND ASK AGAIN or GET HELP SOLVING A PROBLEM USING THE LIBRARY.
  • For help finding books, eBooks, and articles, starting projects, and doing research, use the Ask a Librarian chat, SMS, and email options.
  • Books and magazines may be used in the Library.
  • Books, CDs and DVDs may be borrowed and taken out of the Library.
    • Library staff can help you find a book, CD, or DVD.
    • Bring the book to the Circulation Desk on the first floor.
    • Show your Columbia Student I.D.
  • Many course textbooks are on RESERVE, available at the Circulation Desk on the first floor to be used in the Library only.
  • Search for and find electronic books, articles, data, reports and video from anywhere, using the search box at library.colum.edu.
  • The Library subscribes to over 150 databases that contain specialized, valuable information not available on the internet for free.
