3D Printing

An introduction to 3D printing resources.

Introduction

3D printing is the process of “printing” or building a physical object from a three-dimensional digital model. This is usually done by a machine that lays down successive layers of very thin material, usually plastic.

The Library has two 3D printers -  an Ultimaker 2+ and an Ultimaker 2Go - which are available to current Columbia College Chicago students, faculty, and staff. Reservations can be made here.
