Columbia Votes! is a college-wide student voter initiative conceived by Professor Sharon Bloyd-Peshkin and driven by students. This easy-to-use guide will take you through everything you need to register and vote, and it is tailored for Columbia College Chicago students.
This nonprofit provides sample ballots based on address where the voter is registered. Also offers neutral and verifiable information on government officials and the offices they hold, political issues and public policy, elections and candidates.
"Vote.org is the largest 501(c)(3) nonprofit, nonpartisan voting registration and get-out-the-vote (GOTV) technology platform in America, with the goal of reaching historically underserved voters of color and underrepresented young voters."
"In 1990, music executives founded Rock the Vote in response to the censorship of hip-hop and rap artists. Our first partnership, with MTV, promoted the message that 'Censorship is Un-American' and activated millions of young people across the country to exercise their rights and represent their interests."
